Every life begins with a choice.
Some are deliberate. Others happen in a single unguarded moment. A conversation. A glance across a room. A door we choose to open instead of walking away. At the time, they seem insignificant.
Imagine standing at the edge of a still pond with a rock in your hand. The moment it leaves your fingers, the water changes forever. Ripples spread outward in every direction, touching places you never intended, reaching shores you never imagined. You cannot call them back. You cannot stop them. You can only watch as they reshape everything in their path.
Life is much the same.
Every decision we make creates a ripple. Some lead us toward joy. Others toward heartbreak. Some introduce us to the people who change us forever. Others force us to become someone we never expected to be. Yet in the moment we make those choices, we rarely understand where they will lead.
We live with the illusion that we are completely in control. But are we? Or are we simply making the best decision we can with the information we have, only discovering the true impact of that choice years later?
Perhaps destiny isn’t a single moment waiting for us at the end of the road. Perhaps it’s found within every ripple we create and every path that unfolds because of it.
